Got My Groove Back

My fellow fitnesseurs, I hope you have a rewarding weekend ahead; whether it be a day at the beach, park, or going to the mall,  a movie night, or even just catching up on sleep.

Mine is to not only stop slacking on my fitness and excuse but really jump start my return to fitness, especially weight lifting.  That plan was put into effect today.

500 REPS:

1.) 50 Butt Kicks >> 25 Dumbbell Squats to Overhead Presses + 25 Sumo Squats

2.) 50 Overhead Tricep Extensions >> 50 Weighted Crunches

3.) 50 Dumbbell Dead Lifts >> 50 Stability Ball Hamstring Curls

4.) 50 Dumbbell Lunges with Bicep Curls >> 50 Knee Tuck Jumps

5.) 60 seconds Plank  >> 50 Magic Carpet Ride >> 50 Calves Raises

My next step up is getting more creative with the vegetables.

I made this Brown Rice Quiche.  It resulted in my current practice of financial management by using up certain food  groups in the house before buying others.  So instead of buying potatoes, I used brown rice for this post workout dish.

The brown rice was placed on the bottom of the pan.  A little was sprinkled in the egg mixture as well before I poured it in the pan for baking.

What other ways have you seen quiche prepared?
